Eatthis.com released an article this year listing the fastest growing fast food chains in the US. Shake Shack hit the #1 spot beating Popeye’s, Chick-fil-A, and MOD Pizza.
They have about 208 locations around the world. What is really interesting about this company is that they have one of the highest per store annual sales at $3.7M/year. To give you a comparison, McDonald’s is at about $2.6M/year and Subway is at about $416K/year.
Why is this? I did some homework and apparently their shakes and burgers are fantastic. I don’t know about you but nothing compares to a Dairy Queen Blizzard. But, I guess I’ll have to give their shakes a try.
Aside from the food, the financials are impressive. A score of 16/20 for any restaurant is outstanding. A sticker price of $198 shows this stock has some room to grow.
