  3. “Join now for free, without adding a credit card” – People like the fact that you can try Tykr without adding a credit card. It lowers the barrier to entry.

What timing works best?

  1. Posting on Youtube at any time works well because Youtube content is evergreen which means it remains in place.
  2. Blog posts can be made at any time.
  3. Emails can be sent at any time.
  4. If you post on Instagram or Twitter, try a night or weekend because that’s when most people are “scrolling”. If you post while most people are working, your post may not be seen.

What are other details you should pay attention to?

  1. Let people know you are an affiliate. This creates transparency and trust.
  2. If you do stock reviews, mention that you’re not a financial advisor and that people should still do their own homework before buying or selling a stock.
  3. Never say the word “guarantee”. 
  4. Never tell people to buy or sell. You can say “I plan on buying this stock” or “I plan on avoiding this stock” but never say “You should buy this stock.” 
  5. Don’t use the slogan “Invest With Confidence” as that’s a registered trademark with T.Rowe Price. You can use phrases such as “Clear Confident Investing”, “Invest Confidently on your own”, or “Manage your own investments with confidence”.
