This article outlines Tykr’s data management processes.
Data capture from customers: Tykr does not collect PII (Personally Identifiable Information). Within the onboarding, Tykr collects the customer’s name and email address. When customers add a portfolio, Tykr tracks transaction volumes and account sizes. Tykr has an analytics page that displays average transaction volumes and account sizes of the Tykr community, but Tykr does not display individual transaction volumes and account sizes.
Data capture from data providers: All stock, ETF, and crypto data is imported from FMP and EOD. Tykr updates share prices daily and financial statements quarterly.
Data storage: All data is stored within Tykr’s MongoDB database.
Data usage: The financial data collected from FMP and EOD is used to calculate the Tykr ratings, including the Summary, Score, MOS (Margin of Safety), and 4M Score.
Data deletion: When a customer unsubscribes from Tykr, their account and data are deleted.
Data reselling: Tykr does not sell data to third parties.
